Box & Cert Dated Sept 2015. The Montblanc Star Roman Quantième Complet “Carpe Diem” Special Edition incorporates the thought of the famous poem “Ode to Leuconae” by the classical Roman poet Horaz: "Carpe Diem" which means "Seize the day". The preciousness of every moment is highlighted by the red gold-plated Roman numerals and hands of this classically elegant timepiece that shows both the time of day or night and a full array of calendric data. The date is indicated by a hand which culminates in a little red crescent that sweeps along a wreath of thirty-one digits around the dial’s periphery. In accordance with the best tradition, the day of the week and the month appear in little windows while the lower half of the dial is reserved for the moon-phase display. The blue small-seconds hand, with its perforated Montblanc emblem as a counterweight, rotates above the ensemble. Case size 43mm.
