The IWC Portuguese watch (ref. IW500106) features the caliber 51011 mechanical automatic movement with an approximate 7-day power reserve, gray dial, power reserve subdial at 3 o'clock; small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock, date aperture at 6 o'clock, sapphire-crystal, transparent case back, 18k white gold case 42mm on a dark brown alligator strap with an 18k white gold deployant clasp. The Portuguese Automatic retains the classical appearance of the now legendary original Portuguese watch crafted by IWC in the 1930's, with its large diameter of 42.3mm, appliquéd Arabic numerals and slim, swallow-style hands. However, the watch has been updated with the finest technology that IWC has to offer today, including an exclusive Pellaton winding system, as well as elegant small seconds and seven-day power reserve displays.
